Bespoke Celtic Handfastings
These beautiful and powerful ceremonies take you, the beloveds, on the journey of your love in a deeply romantic ritual using the four elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water, culminating in either the traditional handfasting with ribbons, or the wand and hoop ceremony. (For same sex couples this can be hoop and hoop or wand and wand as appropriate).
THE CELTIC HANDFASTING – PACKAGE

● Hand-crafted wedding candle (for you to keep)
● Sacred flame of Avalon. A perpetual flame of peace from the Glastonbury Goddess Temple. You will both activate your Handfasting candle from this flame

Naming Ceremonies
The popular baby naming ceremonies involve the blessings of the four elements and a welcoming of the new child into their community. These ceremonies can also be adapted for adult ceremonies for a variety of reasons such as:
- Transgender change of name
- Name change after divorce or adoption
- Spiritual change of name
- Reclaiming an ancestral name
- Deed poll change of name
For adults, and transgender individuals in particular, these ceremonies can be a beautiful and powerful way to be visible and welcomed in their expressed identity.

Rites Of Passage
The important life transitions of a woman’s life often go unacknowledged in our society. The stepping into womanhood with a First Blood or Menarche ceremony, the stepping into the Pathfinder phase of life, perhaps when preparing to leave home or go off to university, and the claiming of one’s own wisdom and power with the powerful Croning ceremony mark these transitions in a joyful and life-affirming way, involving the blessing of the four elements , the jumping of the threshold besom broom and culminating in the crowning.

Passing Over Ceremonies
These intimate, sacred, and supportive ceremonies are designed to give close family and friends who have suffered a bereavement a chance to express their grief, love and emotions in an authentic way, and to symbolically bid farewell to the beloved departed. They can be held as a precursor to a funeral, or as a later memorial service. We recommend a maximum of 10 participants to ensure everyone has the space to speak fully as they need.
Passing Over Ceremony – £150 (Note this does not include venue)
Neither my husband or myself are religious, but we wanted to do something to mark the birth of our son and to officially welcome him into the world. We were thrilled when Amelie agreed to lead a naming ceremony for us. We held the ceremony at a party when our son reached eight weeks old. Lots of different family and friends were invited, all with different backgrounds. None of us present had ever participated in a pagan naming ceremony before, but it felt really accessible and inclusive; stripping back the magic of birth and life to the four elements – air, fire, earth and water – which was something that we could all understand and relate to.
It was a really touching ceremony, and we felt surrounded by love and encouragement for ourselves as parents, and moreover for our baby. Amelie made sure that everyone present could actively participate, adults and children alike. I especially loved hearing the vows that our son’s elemental guardians had written for him, as well as writing vows for him as his parents and “earth” guardians ourselves. It was a wonderful way to mark the rite of passage of the birth of a new life. I highly recommend Amelie as a celebrant and thank her for making the occasion so special and memorable for all of us.
